How To Turn Your Tea Tree Oil Cologne Recipe Into a Love Potion

How To Turn Your Tea Tree Oil Cologne Recipe Into a Love Potion

Tea Tree Oil? Really?

Tea Tree Oil is widely known for its healing properties. I had never considered it as a cologne additive. I recently changed my mind.

couple-600Tea Tree Oil blends well with basil, bergamot, black pepper, chamomile german, clary sage, clove, cypress, eucalyptus, geranium, juniper, lavender, lemon, marjoram, nutmeg, oakmoss, oregano, peppermint, pine, ravensara, rosemary, thyme, ylang ylang which are frequently included in a manly cologne.

Every perfume consists of 3 scent levels, or “notes” which support each other and create the overall scent. Essential oils, classified as either top, middle or base notes, give each perfume its own special character. Here are a few of the basic terms:

Top note: This is the scent you notice first, but it doesn’t last long because it evaporates quickest. Top notes are a small portion of the final blend and include fresh, light citrus scents using such oils as bergamot, neroli, lemon, lime, rosemary, orange or mint.

Middle note: This links the base and top scents and determines the fragrance family. Middle notes include flowery essential oils, such as jasmine, rose germanium and ylang-ylang and tea tree oil.

Base note or fixative: This scent lasts the longest, adds fullness and carries the other scents. Derived from balsams, roots, resins and wood, bases include such oils as sandalwood, vetiver and patchouli and tend to be dark, heavy and sweet.

Aroma

Tea Tree Oil has a spicy, camphorous, warm, fresh fragrance that is slightly medicinal. It contains antimicrobial, antibacterial, antiviral, antiseptic, and antifungal properties. It is known to be an immune system stimulant and is uplifting, purifying, and cleansing. Tea tree oil is a quintessential addition to use in a diffuser, during facials, in a compress, in lotion, during massage, cosmetic applications, personal care formulations, soaps, perfumery, incense, candles and in baths.

The right fragrance. Your body produces natural fragrances that can increase your physical attractiveness. But to accentuate it, you can also use colognes that complement your body’s fragrance and make you smell more sexually attractive.

What makes this recipe into a Love Potion?

This recipe on its own will not have women falling all over themselves but pairing it with one of these unscented pheromone products as a pleasant natural cover scent will.

Pheromones are a great way to build confidence, keep people’s attention in social situations, and attract sexual partners. These unscented pheromones for men allow you to combine all of the great benefits of pheromones with any fragrance you want!

Mix your favorite cologne with one or more of these unscented pheromone products such as Chikara Unscented for Men, Alpha-7 Unscented, and Liquid Trust and experience the power of pheromones without changing the way you smell.

One final note: if you are going to use essential oils as pairings for our pheromone blends, please keep safety in mind. You should never put undiluted essential oils right on your skin, as doing so can cause a bad reaction similar to an allergic reaction that will come back every time you have contact with that oil (or even the plant it comes from) again. Always mix them, in appropriate proportions, with a carrier oil before application. We want you to be safe and happy! Read up on the use of essential oils in perfumes before getting started.

Best Hair Loss Shampoo

Best Hair Loss Shampoo

In my opinion the Best Hair Loss Shampoo is one that you can make yourself with the recommended essential oils.

That being said, I can also show you an additional great product to achieve the results you are looking for. A full head of hair.

hairFirst, you’re on the right track by making the choice to make your own best hair loss shampoo. Commercial shampoos are loaded with chemicals which may have contributed to your hair loss in the first place.

Making your own homemade natural herbal shampoo specifically formulated for your hair type may be the answer you have been looking for.

Nature has provided us with many plants that possess incredible secrets. The essential oils recommended in the best hair loss shampoo recipes were extracted from these plants.

Bergamot essential oil for instance regulates the activity of the sebaceous glands on the scalp, preventing the overproduction of oil which can contribute to hair loss.

A soft, shiny, healthy head of hair is quite a blessing. Whether you have normal, fine hair or oily hair and dandruff, a well-groomed appearance can strengthen one’s self confidence and image. Today, many commercial shampoos have cleansers that are too harsh and have a drying effect on the scalp, making it produce too much oil for those suffering with an oily hair condition. Normal hair is easier to maintain but it too can benefit from a milder shampoo.

Different people suffer from various types problems related to the scalp and hair. These problems may include hair loss, problems related to scaling and itching and/ or infections.

Both men as well as women are troubled by hair loss (alopecia). The problem is very widespread. It is normal to loose hair on a daily basis and this is generally replaced by new hair growth. When this does not occur, it may result in receding hairline or baldness. Many people who suffer from rapid hair loss, more than what is normal, may actually have inherited the predisposition to the condition known as “common baldness”.

Several different factors may be responsible for hair loss. Such cases may include aging, ecological effects, excessive stress, smoking excessively, hormonal imbalance, deficiency of nutrient, scalp infections, genetic issues, using the wrong or synthetic hair care products. In addition, use of specific medicines as well as health conditions like autoimmune diseases, thyroid problems, anemia due to deficiency of iron, polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) and various chronic ailments may also be responsible for hair loss.

Everyone has roughly 100,000 hair strands on their scalp. Normally, one loses anything between 50 to 100 strands of hair daily. In the case of a healthy individual, this loss is compensated with the growth of new hair strands every day. However, when an individual starts losing more hair than what is considered to be normal, it is necessary for them to initiate some action to ensure that the hair loss doesn’t progress to the stage of bald spots or baldness. Fortunately by by making your own Best Hair Loss Shampoo several ingredients in the recipes are available readily and these may be employed for treating hair loss at home.

A daily ritual of scalp massages spreads your skin’s natural oils to the hair shafts. Use your fingertips to massage your scalp for 3 min. each day before shampooing will help to augment blood circulation to the hair follicles. At the same time, it will condition the scalp and also make the hair roots stronger. In addition, massaging will encourage relaxation and lessen stressful feelings.

When your rub and knead the skin of the scalp, the action makes it warm, conditioning the skin. This, in turn, results in increased blood flow to the scalp’s skin. When the blood circulation is boosted, it makes sure that the cells lying inside the hair follicles receive additional nutrients. When all these happen concurrently, they help to make optimal hair growth possible.

Massaging and kneading the scalp offers other benefits and that is the release of endorphins, which are responsible for lowering the levels of stress. At the same time, endorphins ensure happiness and relaxation. Precisely speaking, any type of massage helps to lower the elevated levels of stress, provided it is done in the proper manner.

But first let’s get you started on making your own shampoo.

Ingredients

Elma 11 Hair and Scalp Revitalizer is 100% natural, and does not contain steroids, parabens, and artificial preservatives.

Directions

Rub into the scalp and hair 15-30 minutes before washing 1-2 times a week. In the case of dandruff, scalp irritations, or to stop hair loss, leave the oil in for a few more hours before washing. Apply oil 1-2 times a week.

Neutralizing Rinse

Keeping Hair Healthy with a Neutralizing Rinse

  • All shampoos are a little alkaline; in areas with hard water, they may leave a light film on your hair or your scalp. If you live in a region where the water is a problem, use an acidic rinse after every shampoo to neutralize the hair’s pH. Mix 1 tsp. of vinegar or freshly squeezed lemon juice with 2 cups of warm water and use this mixture as a final rinse.
  • After shampooing, rinse with cool water to shrink the pores on your scalp and prevent the overproduction of oil.
  • Rinse with apple-cider vinegar to encourage your hair to regenerate the natural acidic coating that normally protects it. When the acidic coating is intact, it prevents damage to the hair and scalp to counteract flaking. Vinegar also naturally neutralizes any alkaline residue that remains behind.
  • If you swim often, especially in chlorinated pools, wear a bathing cap. To keep your hair moisturized, apply conditioner before you put your cap on. Following your swim, rinse your hair to remove any chlorine or salt.

Take Care!

The essential oils in these Best Hair Loss Shampoo recipes may irritate the mucous membranes if they come in contact with your eyes, so you should always keep your eyes closed when you’re washing your hair. If some shampoo does get into your eyes, rinse it out immediately with plenty of water to prevent irritation. Pregnant women and epileptics should avoid using bay-laurel, lemon and rosemary essential oils, since they can trigger contractions or seizures; lemon oil can also cause photosensitivity.

Best Hair Loss Shampoo Ingredient Benefits:

Distilled water for clean rinsing: Water that has been distilled is extremely pure; it is free of sodium and trace amounts of solid matter, unlike other kinds of water. It is a good ingredient for natural shampoos, as it doesn’t contain minerals that can build up on your hair.

Gentle herbal shampoo as a base: A good base for natural shampoo is a mild herbal shampoo, which can be found in many health-food stores. Buy a soap-based shampoo made with coconut, soy, olive or palm-kernel oil. Another good choice is a herbal baby shampoo. Avoid shampoos that include olefin sulfate, lauramide DEA, cocamide DEA, sodium lauryl sulfate, sodium laureth sulfate, sodium C14-16 or cocamidopropyl betaine, as they tend to be too harsh.

Essential oils for scent and shine: Lemon essential oil can give your hair a healthy shine. Peru-balsam oil conditions fine hair and makes it easier to comb. Rosemary oil is also good for natural shampoos, since it contains components that help invigorate and strengthen both your scalp and your hair.

Alternatives for healthy hair: If you don’t want to make a natural shampoo but want something mild, try diluting your normal shampoo by half with distilled water. You can also add essential oils for fragrance; lavender and rosemary oils are good choices.

A pH-Balanced shampoo: Containing no additives or perfumes, a pH-balanced shampoo may be commercially available in ready-to-use form. It is well suited for use in personalizing individual, gentle shampoos and provides an inexpensive alternative to store-bought brands. For a distinctive aroma, add your favorite essential oil. In addition to pleasing aroma, the nourishing, restorative components of the added essential oils will enrich your scalp each time you shampoo.

Rosemary oil for a healthy scalp: The component terpineol found in the essential oil of rosemary leaves will stimulate circulation in your scalp, strengthen the roots of your hair and generally promote healthy hair growth. This stimulating effect alleviates hair and scalp problems and prevents damage.

Beautiful hair with lavender oil: The ancient Romans used lavender oil as a special additive to washes because of its effectiveness as a cleansing agent. Lavender oil gives hair a pleasant scent, a silky fullness and a light, fresh appearance.

Natural help for dandruff: If you have dandruff, use a shampoo containing eucalyptus essential oil. Each time you wash your hair, the eucalyptus essential oil will remove existing flakes and help purify your scalp.

Many of you have a busy and hectic lifestyle and even though making your own homemade shampoo is the best alternative to using commercially purchased shampoos and conditioners there isn’t always the time available. There are however some excellent shampoos available that are also vegan, gluten-free, sulfate-free, paraben-free, phthalate-free, and cruelty-free. Find them at your local health food store.

Whether you decide to delve right in and make the above shampoo recipes yourself or not is up to you. I recommend you try it. One thing you can’t skip on though is the Elma hair & scalp revitalizer.

You will notice that I provide multiple sources for the Essential Oils you will need. That is for price comparison or preference. Also you will discover the many other benefits these oils provide.

Deodorant For Sensitive Skin

Deodorant For Sensitive Skin

Deodorant for sensitive skin is easy to make. But do you really need it?

deodorant-for-sensitive-skinTry my deodorant for sensitive skin recipe if you think you have sensitive skin. If skin care products, or household products that contact your skin, cause stinging, burning, redness, or tightness therefore that could be an indication that you have sensitive skin. Some say they have sensitive skin because even though they have no visible effects after contact with a skin product, it always makes their skin feel uncomfortable.

But here is what dermatologists look for when diagnosing sensitive skin:

Skin reactions such as pustules, skin bumps, or skin erosion
Very dry skin which doesn’t properly protect nerve endings in the skin
A tendency toward blushing and skin flushing

How do You know if You have sensitive skin?

Have a dermatologist check your skin. That’s the best way to find out if you have sensitive skin or whether something else is causing your skin condition.

I’m pursuing a healthier life.

Over the last 20+ years I’ve become aware of not only what I put in my body, but also what I put on my body. I started to look more critically at the toothpaste I use, the lotion I put on my skin, and yes, even the deodorant I use.

Our skin absorbs a great deal of what we put on it. So, if we’re putting chemicals on our body, it will absorb those chemicals. Here are a few of the things you should be aware of that are found in conventional deodorant.

1. Aluminum
2. Parabens
3. Propylene Glycol
4. Phthalates
5. Triclosan

Knowing that many of these chemicals found in deodorants are toxic carcinogens and may cause major health problems make me look for alternatives. Making my own deodorant and other skin care products was one of those alternatives. Why? I could control what was in it.

There are, indeed some fantastic alternatives, but I wouldn’t look in your local grocery store for them. Even some of the “natural” deodorants I’ve picked up from the store contain some of these chemicals.
Herbal deodorant sprays are especially good for sensitive skin.

My deodorant for sensitive skin recipe will keep you smelling fresh even if you sweat a great deal over the course of a day without having to reapply. No unknown chemicals to worry about. I use just simple, effective, natural ingredients.

My homemade deodorant for sensitive skin recipe, does not contain products that block the sweat glands however they contains products that prevent odor from forming. Zinc-oxide is an odour-free, natural raw material, combined with Calendula and Lavender oils which kill the bacteria that make your perspiration smell unpleasant. Zinc-oxide doesn’t close the pores or stop the natural process of perspiration.

If you have sensitive skin you can safely try the recipe below:

Basic Recipe

2 tsp. zinc-oxide powder
2/3 cup witch-hazel extract
2 tbsp. aloe-vera juice
30-40 drops essential oil(s)

Directions:

In a small bowl, stir the zinc-oxide powder into the witch-hazel extract, and add the aloe-vera juice and essential oil(s). Fill an 8-oz. dark-glass spray bottle with the fluid.

For Deodorant for Sensitive Skin

Use Basic Recipe (above)
30 drops calendula extract
10 drops lavender essential oil

Calendula Extract and lavender oils are mild yet potent fighters of bacteria and odor.

Application:

Wash your armpits thoroughly and dry them well. The components of your herbal deodorant have reliable and long-lasting effectiveness only when applied to clean skin. Then spray the deodorant across the skin several times to dampen it. Let it dry before getting dressed so it doesn’t stain your clothes.
